The village of Toubacouta is located near a traditional African community and has approximately 2000 inhabitants.
It is situated in the Sine Saloum river estuary, one of the most scenic areas of Senegal, 260 km south of Dakar, and 60 km North of Banjul
(The Gambia). It is an excellent base to visit the Saloum river delta national park.
